The iPad

Guess what? Apple has once again created and produced a revolutionary device. What is it? It's the iPad of course! This extremely new gadget is absolutely the most advanced piece of technology made-for now at least. The iPad in my opinion, was a very good idea. It is perfectly sized to be light and portable. So wherever you are, the internet is easily accessible. This product has various activities, games, and you are capable of surfing the web at any time. For instance there are new apps such as, of course, iTunes and the awesome, new, iBooks! This new application amongst many others, is so cool because it allows you to pick out books and read them on the iPad! Plus, the iPad has a battery that lasts for about 10 hrs! Wow. Honestly, it's amazing! And I believe, due to all of the iPad's astounding characteristics, it will change life as we know it. Really. Here's how...
Education. The iPad, I think, will definitely change this in several ways. Firstly, as the iPad
is much better than any laptop, computer, or smart phone, I believe that it will replace all
laptops and computers at schools. The iPad will be the use of students and teachers everywhere.
I mean, it is a very useful and interesting piece of technology. Plus, due to the iPad's application
of iBooks, the need to order and buy books will be eliminated in schools. It will be much easier
to access the different books needed for schooling and learning. Since with just a click away, you
can have it right there in front of you! And maybe, libraries won't be very common anymore.
There might be a few still left around, but with the access of an iPad, most people probably
won't spend their money on books themselves. Instead, people will just read books on their
iPads. So bookstores won't be very popular anymore... I'm pretty sad about that, since I do
sometimes prefer to have the book itself... But, never mind that. Back on topic. Besides
education, I think the iPad will make a difference in...
Business. This could be a possibility. For one thing, like in schools, the iPad could replace
the laptops used. Like, in my dad's company Shell, the company provides laptops for their
employees to use for conferences, updates, etc. (I think) I think the iPad will replace these
laptops and provide what is needed. For one thing, it will much easier for them to travel with.
When my dad goes on a business trip, he has to lug around a backpack holding his laptop and
charger and everything. It is heavy and tiring! But with an iPad, it is easy to carry and still just
as useful. Maybe even more! But honestly, the iPad could reshape life in general. For example,
since the iPad is quite affordable for most, I believe it will totally terminate the existence of
normal computers and laptops. So EVERYONE will have one! Plus, due to this new and
phenomenal device, the bar of technology is raised to a much higher level. So the development
of the iPad will affect technology itself. I mean, it's so high-tech now, imagine what it will be in
around 10 years! You see what I mean? The iPad and technology does have a big part in our
lives, and with it's growing popularity... Well, you tend to see it everywhere! So, I guess in the
future, technology will completely run our lives! What do you think?
